There is no stopping Vauxhall hot-shot Paul Taylor, who took his tally for the season to six from as many games, as the Motormen came from behind to secure their second Blue Square North victory at Rivacre Park.

Motors began brightly and took the lead after just nine minutes, when the former Manchester City youngster raced after a long punt upfield from Lee Furlong, to defty head beyond the out-rushing Alfreton keeper Jamie Green.  The visitors then struck back with purpose.  Kris Bowler struck a sweet volley against the crossbar and shortly after, unmarked Town striker Brian Cusworth stopped to head home an equaliser on 20 minutes.
                             
Just four minutes later Alfreton were in front, as Matt Wilson lost his marker and planted a firm header beyond Sean Lake, from a corner.  Ten minutes into the second half, Motors were awarded a controversial penalty when Taylor was to be sandwiched in the box by two Town defenders and up stepped Furlong to dispatch the spot kick in style to level up the scores.

And nine minutes later, Furlong produced the ammunition for Taylor to strike again, beating Green with a delightful lob, as the keeper attempted to close down the angle.
