DIRECTIONS TO RIVACRE PARK

Rivacre Park is not the easiest place to get to, unless you have a car.  If you have, then here are your directions:

FROM BIRKENHEAD TUNNEL - From the tunnel toll area (£1.30 for cars) keep to the left and take the A41.  Go straight over the 1st roundabout (Hotel California is in the middle).  WARNING - The speed limit is 30 mph and there is a speed camera which changes direction from time to time.  At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit A41 (New Ferry By Pass).  At the end of the by pass take the 2nd exit A41 (signposted Bromborough, Chester).  You will go through 7 sets of traffic lights.  At the 8th set of lights take the left hand fork (Appliance Express will be on your left).  You are now in Eastham Village (very historical village).  Follow Eastham Village Road round past the Hooton Arms until you see a War Memorial on your right.  Just after the War Memorial turn left into Rivacre Road.  Follow Rivacre Road and you will go over the M53.  Once over the motorway Rivacre Park is on your right after approx 1/2 mile.

FROM WALLASEY TUNNEL - From the toll area (same prices apply) go straight on to the M53.  Follow the M53 until junction 5.  When you exit junction 5 get in the right hand lane.  Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout, A41 (signposted Chester).  At the 1st set of traffic lights turn left (Chimney's is on the corner).  You are now in Hooton Green.  Follow Hooton Green to the end.  At the 'T' junction turn left.  At the next 'T' junction turn right onto Rivacre Road.  Rivacre Park is on the right hand side after approx 200 yards.

FROM M6 / M56 - Take the junction of the M56 signposted M53 Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead.  Take the M53 to junction 5.  Exit junction 5 and take the left hand lane.  Take the 1st exit off the roundabout, A41 (signposted Chester) and follow directions above (From Wallasey Tunnel).
