Vauxhall's Anger At League Procrastination

Vauxhall Motors FC have been left shocked and angry following the news that Chester City FC have now been given until 30th November 2009 to pay off their football debts following the transfer of Paul Taylor in 2008.
“It is simply astonishing!” commented chairman Alan Bartlam.  “When we are given a deadline to meet certain criterior, it is set in stone.  If we do not comply, we are penalised. It is as simple as that.  But deadlines in respect of Chester City are seemingly not worth the paper they are written on.  It is quite laughable if it wasn’t so serious.”
“ We have been owed money by this football club for over twelve months for a football-related matter, yet the so-called powers that be actually seem incapable of exerting any power whatsoever.”
“Furthermore, I find it offensive that as we are one of the clubs sited in the script, that no one considers asking us what we think of provided yet another extension. We weren’t asked last time and we haven’t been asked this time either.  It is a disgrace.”
