Vauxhall Motors West Cheshire League manager Aubrey Rogers resigned from his position with the club on Saturday afternoon.
The Reserves were due to play at Castrol Social but the match was called off earlier in the day, but Aubrey decided to leave following a couple of telephone conversations with the Chairman, Alan Bartlam.
"Aubrey was clearly unhappy with the way things were going and after a heart-felt conversation, he tendered his resignation later the same day." commented Bartlam.
"We have all been left frustrated with the results of the West Cheshire League side and I really did hope that Aubrey would be able to turn things around, but it has proved to be a none too easy task and the frustratations had clearly been eating away with Aubrey, to the point he said "enough was enough".
"We shall give some serious thought to our next step" said Bartlam "before moving forward". |
