The prospects of Saturday's FA trophy tie against Blue Square Premier League table toppers Stevenage Borough going ahead are very slim. Stevenage are holding a pitch inspection at around 1pm Friday before the Motormen take to the 'icy' road.
If the match is postponed, it will take place next Tuesday, causing the AFC Telford United Blue Square North fixture at the New Bucks Head to be postponed. Looking further into the future, if the weather doesn't loosen it's frosty grip on the country, the match will, if postponed again, take place on the following Tuesday. Then it will be the 26th & then 30th!!! Now that's forward planning!!!
