| Home Fixtures Player StatsPlayer Profiles | MOST OF THE SQUAD RETAINED FOR 2008/09 Vauxhall Motors manager Carl Macauley expects the majority of his squad to remain at Rivacre Park, following the clubs relegation from the Blue Square North into the Unibond Premier Division. The exceptions are Peter Heler, who was signed in the Autumn from Alsager Town until the end of the season and wants to find a club closer to his Potteries home, along with defenders Joe McMahon and Craig Robinson. Joining Macauley on the sidelines will be former striker Anthony Wright, who will be his assistant, having spent most of this season with Colwyn Bay. Meanwhile, reserve team boss Alan Farley, who guided the second string to a very impressive second half of the season in the West Cheshire League, after joining the club in October, will continue in this role, which is a huge boost to the Motormen after initially believing that he would be moving to new pastures. |
