CARL MACAULEY ASSISTANT MANAGER
Carl took on the role as assistant manager so he can dedicate more time to his family. He was appointed manager at Rivacre Park in January 2006 after a successful spell as caretaker following Owen Brown’s resignation. A former Vauxhall player, when the club won the West Cheshire League double in 1995, Carl became Owen Brown’s best value-for-money signing, when he was in charge at Barrow. Later he captained Burscough to their famous 2003 FA Trophy success at Villa Park.
